The Giant Steps Fall Festival is a lighthearted, inclusive community event that brings together our clients, families, volunteers, donors, and friends. With a festive Halloween and fall theme, it’s a celebration that creates opportunities for connection beyond the arena.

Program Highlights

Festivities – Fall-themed activities, raffle prizes, horse costume parade, light bites, and local wine tasting.

Dressage Tests – Giant Steps clients, volunteers, and community members are invited to ride a dressage or para dressage test and receive feedback from professional rider and US National Champion Eventer, Tommy Greengard. Tommy will evaluate tests and give riders tips and feedback. Everyone can have fun and learn from Tommy’s warm teaching style.  Clients have first priority to ride Giant Steps’ horses in a welcoming atmosphere, followed by volunteers and community members and their horses. Day stalls available. Spots are limited, reserve your space today!

What is dressage? Dressage is the foundation of all equestrian disciplines, dating back hundreds of years. Simple to complex patterns are ridden in an arena to create athleticism of the horse and harmony and partnership between the horse and rider.  If you are curious about dressage, this is a great opportunity to come and learn more, try riding a test, or cheer on others.
