Giant Steps lifts their glass to Bridget and Denis Twomey, the Co-Chairs of June’s Farm to Table Dinner. Hosted at their beautiful farm on the Marin-Sonoma border, the dinner featured local ingredients ranging from Tomales Bay oysters to Tara Firma Farms suckling pig to Petaluma Pie Company’s seasonal favorites. Guests got to visit the therapy animals who call the property home. (My personal favorite is John Snow, a Barbados sheep who looks like goat, was raised by a guanaco, and thinks he’s a dog.) It was truly a wonderful evening. Even the weather cooperated–no Petaluma winds that evening! We also send deep thanks to Event Committee members Jane Rodger and Dayna West.
