Dear Giant Steps families, volunteers, supporters, and staff:
Like you, we are trying to keep up with the updates regarding COVID-19, and to make the best decisions we can based on the information at hand. The current guidance is to limit group activities, particularly for those with underlying health conditions. To that end, we have decided to suspend classes as of today. This suspension will continue through the end of the winter semester. We are hopeful that we will be able to resume classes for the spring semester, which begins Tuesday, April 21, 2020, but will send additional updates as we know whether that is advisable. Please know that there are still no known cases of COVID-19 in the Giant Steps community. This is a preventative measure, not a reactionary one.
For clients, if you are in a position to convert the balance of your fees for the semester to a donation, we would appreciate it greatly as we still have to feed our horses, pay our staff, etc. If you are not in a position to donate your remaining fees, please let me know.
