Volunteers are essential to Giant Steps

Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center wants everyone involved in it's programs to feel comfortable and safe. To that end, all volunteers are required to attend Volunteer Orientation and Training.

Have friends who are interested in volunteering with us? Have them sign up for one of the New Volunteer Orientations!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Giant Steps. Staff and volunteers working together form a vital team that is essential to the success of our riders. Our need for volunteers is great. Whether your experience with horses is lifelong or nonexistent, your willingness to give of yourself and your time is what we need. There are many areas of volunteer opportunities here at Giant Steps; our volunteers help with assisting students in classes, as well as with horse care, fundraising and clerical work in the office. We will work with you to find the area where you will feel most comfortable and that will be the most rewarding to you.
